Manchester Pilot Building Integration into Renovation Decision Support (DSS4Ren)

29 July , 2025

EBENTO is making great strides with the integration of its second pilot building — located in Manchester, UK — into the project’s Renovation Decision Support (DSS4Ren) and One-Stop-Shop (OSS) platform.

This pilot is being carried out in close collaboration with Carbon Co-op, a trusted local partner and community energy organisation that empowers residents to undertake energy-saving home improvements.

Following the successful deployment in Valencia, the Manchester pilot marks a significant milestone in demonstrating how EBENTO tools can support data-driven, user-centred building renovation processes across diverse European contexts.

Through this integration, EBENTO continues to:

  • Collect and analyse building performance data
  • Apply renovation scenarios based on real conditions
  • Guide decision-making using key energy performance indicators
  • Empower homeowners and local actors to make informed renovation choices

The pilot not only reflects the platform’s technical capabilities, but also its potential for scalability and replication. By working closely with local communities and partners, EBENTO shows how energy renovation strategies can be tailored to specific needs — and deployed at scale to address housing quality and climate resilience.
