Revolutionizing Renovation Planning: DSS4Ren Module Video Demonstration Now Available

June 19, 2025

The EBENTO project has reached a significant milestone with the release of a brand-new video demonstration showcasing the Renovation Decision Support Module (DSS4Ren), an innovative digital tool designed to empower homeowners, building professionals, and renovation advisors in making more informed, energy-efficient renovation decisions.

Part of the EBENTO One-Stop-Shop, DSS4Ren offers a data-driven approach to planning building renovations, focusing on energy performance, comfort, and sustainability. The newly released video gives viewers an inside look at how the tool works and highlights its potential to transform the renovation journey.

Key Capabilities of DSS4Ren:

  • Evaluation & Comparison: Assess building performance pre- and post-renovation to explore different upgrade scenarios.
  • BIM Integration: Leverages Building Information Modeling (BIM) for accurate digital representations and precise energy modeling.
  • Energy Simulation: Generates Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to energy consumption, efficiency, and comfort.
  • User-Friendly Interface: Offers intuitive navigation and interactive tools for both technical and non-technical users.

The video demonstration is now available and provides a guided tour of the module’s features and functionalities. Stakeholders across the renovation ecosystem are encouraged to explore the tool and see how DSS4Ren fits into a sustainable future.
