Celebrating Women in Science: Introducing EBENTO’s New Project Coordinator

February 11, 2025

On the occasion of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, we are thrilled to introduce Alejandra del Valle, the new coordinator of the EBENTO Project. Alejandra’s leadership marks an exciting chapter for EBENTO, and to introduce herself, she has shared a powerful message on the importance of increasing women’s participation in STEM careers and the energy efficiency and building innovation sector.

Why Women in STEM Matter

The role of women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) is more crucial than ever. Despite progress, gender gaps persist, particularly in technical fields such as energy systems, engineering, and digital innovation. Ensuring that more women enter and thrive in these fields is essential—not just for gender equality, but for fostering diverse perspectives, innovative solutions, and a more sustainable future.

Women Leading the Way at EBENTO

At EBENTO, we are proud to have an exceptional team of women who lead key project objectives and drive forward our mission of enhancing energy efficiency in buildings. Their expertise and dedication not only strengthen the project but also serve as a source of inspiration for future generations of women in STEM.

As we celebrate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, we reaffirm our commitment to supporting and empowering women in technical fields. Their contributions are shaping the future of sustainable energy, smart buildings, and technological innovation.
