Visiting Our Tallinn Pilot Site

18 September 2023

On the 15th of September, our EBENTO coordinator embarked on an insightful journey to Tallinn. The mission: to engage with the dynamic team from Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech) who are diligently working on our pilot project. The primary goals were to gain a profound understanding of the end-users’ needs, harmonize the objectives of EBENTO with those of TalTech, and embark on a tour of the facility where the EBENTO tools will undergo rigorous testing through building renovations.

This visit held a dual purpose; firstly, to acquaint ourselves with the precise location where the pilot project will unfold, and secondly, to showcase past projects related to building renovations. These past endeavors serve as a valuable foundation upon which EBENTO seeks to refine its processes and ultimately enhance the final results.

TalTech boasts an impressive track record in the realm of building renovation and the innovative application of new technologies. The university’s alignment with our project’s needs, in terms of use cases and testing tools, is commendable. Furthermore, their distinct objectives are set on elevating the Energy Performance Contracting (EnPC) and commissioning processes for building renovations.
